ProkodersCareersJobsbackend-development-%E2%80%93-training-track-season-2

Description

This track is about proving you can operate like a real backend contributor. You’ll work on service logic, performance, and reliability. We are not teaching “what backend means”, we are evaluating if you can be trusted in a production-style workflow.

Duties

  •   Design and extend RESTful APIs / service endpoints.
  • Implement and refactor backend logic tied to real feature requirements.
  • Handle validation, error handling, and basic authorization.
  • Connect business requirements to backend behavior.
  • Keep services stable, traceable, and maintainable.

Requirements

  • You have already built or contributed to backend services (side project, freelance work, internship, university capstone with real logic).
  • You know how to design or extend an API, not only follow tutorials.
  • You understand request/response cycles, data flow, validation, and access control at a basic level.
  • You can work inside an existing codebase and not get lost.
  • You can take direct technical feedback and adjust fast.
  • You can commit to the full program schedule.

Not eligible if:

  • You’ve never built or touched a backend API.
  • You are still at “learning basics of server-side code.”
  • You are only looking for a certificate.

Benefits

  •   Direct feedback on how production-ready your backend work is.
  • Clear visibility into expectations around reliability, security, and delivery.
  • A strengths/weaknesses summary you can use after the program.
  • Positioning for future serious work opportunities within our network (not guaranteed
    employment).
